Stage Acts Entertainment is an independent theatre producer and booking agency.
We create and manage live entertainment within the corporate realm and produce theatre in the West End, on tour in the UK and internationally.
We source, select and manage a selection of the UK’s premiere acts for our clients across the industry.
Recent theatre productions include the UK and Norwegian tour of An Evening of Dirty Dancing: The Tribute Show, the UK tour of Summer Dreaming, You’ll Never Walk Alone: The West End Unites for the Philippines at the Queen’s Theatre in aid of the DEC’s Philippines typhoon Appeal, hosted by Gok Wan featuring a host of stars from stage and screen. The event raised £15,000 for the appeal and was supported by Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Delfont Mackintosh Theatres. We subsequently wrote and co-produced a gala event for the DEC helping to thank their major appeal contributors, which comprised of an immersive theatre experience in which guests moved around a real life replica of Tacloban after the typhoon had hit.
We also produce theatre enrichment projects. Onstage Acts is an annual course in contemporary musical theatre aimed at theatre professionals. Students undertake an intensive week of masterclasses with award-winning theatre practitioners. The week culminates in a showcase of the work undertaken in front of an invited audience. Tutors include West End leading ladies Julie Atherton (Avenue Q), Katie Brayben (Olivier Award winner Best Actress in a Musical for Beautiful), multi-award winning producer Danielle Tarento (Titanic, Grey Gardens), award winning composers Michael Bruce & Dougal Irvine, top West End agents Stuart Piper (Cole Kitchenn) and Wendy Scozarro (Felix de Wolfe) and casting director Charlie Sutton (The National, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre).
Stage Acts Entertainment was founded nearly a decade ago by entertainment booker Matt Firth and award-winning producer Paul Spicer. Their combined production credits include Idina Menzel & Marvin Hamlisch with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, Alan Cumming in I Bought a Blue Car Today and Megan Mullally & Supreme Music Program, both at the Vaudeville Theatre, and the Olivier Award nominated revival of JB Priestley’s When We Are Married starring Maureen Lipman and Roy Hudd at the Garrick Theatre. Paul has also produced 8 studio recordings of live concerts and solo albums for a selection of high profile theatre stars and is a Member of the Trust at the Arts Educational Schools, London.
